Novorapid Insulin Penfill 100IU/ml 3ml, Pack of 5’s

Novorapid 100 IU/ml Solution for Injection is used in the treatment of diabetes.Its is a prescription pack of fast-acting insulin aspart, used for blood sugar control in diabetes, administered as subcutaneous injections (under the skin) minutes before meals, typically 5-15 mins, to manage post-meal highs, with doses adjusted by a doctor, requiring rotation of injection sites and carrying sugar for potential low blood sugar (hypoglycemia).

• Type: Rapid-acting insulin aspart (similar to natural insulin but faster acting).
• Purpose: Lowers high blood sugar levels, especially after meals, in Type 1 & 2 Diabetes.
• Administration: Subcutaneous injection (belly, thigh, buttocks); rotate sites.
• Timing: 5-10 minutes before a meal, or up to 20 mins after starting a meal.
• Pack Size: 5 x 3ml pre-filled pens.
• Notes: Prescription needed; use with NovoFine/NovoTwist needles; monitor blood sugar; carry sugar for lows. 

• Starts working in 10-20 mins, peak effect 1-3 hrs, lasts 3-5 hrs.
