Duratears Eye Ointment-3.5gm

Duratears Lubricating Eye Ointment is a multi-use preservative free ointment that has been specially formulated for the symptomatic treatment of dry eye conditions. The ointment forms a smooth, comfortable protective film when applied to the eyes. It is particularly effective for use while sleeping and in patients who are sensitive to preservatives or where the use of preservatives is considered inappropriate.

• White Petrolatum
• Anhydrous Liquid Lanolin
• May also contain other lubricants like glycerin, PEG 400, or polyvinyl alcohol depending on formulation. 

• Wash hands thoroughly before application.
• Pull down the lower eyelid to create a small pocket.
• Squeeze a small ribbon of ointment (about 1/4 inch) into the pocket, avoiding touching the eye with the tube tip to prevent contamination.
